Emergency Department

The emergency department at Memorial Medical Center serves more than 23,000 patients annually. In any emergency, our experienced staff is here for you when you need us. Our emergency department features eleven treatment areas, including a trauma and critical care room. We are open 24 hours a day.

FastER Track

“FastER Track” emergency care is available for patients who visit the Emergency Department with minor illnesses and injuries. This may include flu, sprains, back pain, sore throats or minor cuts that may need stitches. The “FastER Track” at Memorial Medical Center features eight private treatment rooms and is staffed during peak patient arrival times. Patients are treated by a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, but the emergency physician on duty oversees all care and treatment provided by these mid level providers. With this service, our patients experience prompt treatment and minimal waiting. Most patients in the “FastER” are triaged, seen, diagnosed, treated and released in about an hour.
