How do I get to the hospital?
Memorial Medical Center is very conveniently and prominently located on US 10 (Ludington Avenue) at One Atkinson Drive in Ludington. Since this is the main road into downtown Ludington, we are very easy to find. Click Here for more detailed directions and maps.
How do I find a specific department or area once I'm at the hospital?
We understand that it is difficult to navigate through unknown hallways and corridors. That's why at Memorial Medical Center, we will always escort you to where you need to go. Just ask anyone on our staff or any volunteer for assistance.
Who do I call when I need answers?
For any type of emergency medical situation, you will want to call 911 immediately.
If you have a question concerning your general health, you will want to discuss that with your doctor by calling his or her office and scheduling an appointment. If you have a question about a test or procedure, your hospital bill, employment or volunteer opportunities, or anything else that is hospital related, you may contact our switchboard operator at 231-843-2591 to be transferred to the appropriate department, or you can use the Hospital Directory
If I have an emergency, what should I do?
If you have a medical emergency, or any other type of emergency, do not call the hospital. Call 911. That is the fastest way to get help. If you have an emergency that does not warrant an ambulance, you may come to the hospital to be seen in the Emergency Department. The Emergency Department does not give out medical advice over the phone.
Does the hospital take my insurance?
To find out if Memorial Medical Center is an approved provider through your insurance company, you may either contact your employer or your insurance carrier to get that information, or contact our Business Office at (231) 845-2312.
What if I can't pay my hospital bill?
At Memorial Medical Center we will always work with you to resolve billing concerns. We offer payment plans that will fit your budget. We will look at each case on an individual basis to come up with a solution that works for all parties.
